INTERNET SCAMS. HOW TO NOT GET RIPPED OFF

THIS INFOMATION COULD SAVE YOU THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS.
If your new to the internet marketing game you need to read this carefully and absorb it 100% or you WILL get scamed NO DOUBT ABOUT IT!

 Im not a complete novice in Internet Marketing but I almost got caught recentlly and this is how it went down.
 First I purchased a web site and hosting from a well known internet guru. The site went up and live in due course and I started to drive traffic using my tried and proven methods, I even get a few sales. Then I recieve a call from a guy in L.A asking how its going and that he works directlly with the guy I purchased the site from, we go through the methods that Im using and so on he passes on some info and then tells me he's calling to offer me one of only a handfull of places where they will take over the running of my site and also build another site for me fully seo'd and definatlly capable of making over $10,000.00 a month. All this for $1,500.00 usd,  seems like a pretty good deal.
   Now at this point I'm interested but I'm just about to run out the door to  get on a flight that were allready late for so I tell him I'm interested and ask him to call back  in a week.
 Over the next week he calls frequently I recognise the number and dont pick up. ( stuff him I think, Im on holidays with my family).
 The day we return he calls and we resume our previous conversation how much money this programe is going to make ...and the biggie,  how much extra time I will have with my family.
 Now heres were it all go's bad . He gets my card number from me,  'to carry out a credit check' and tells me he's just e mailed a basic contract outlining the T.O.S and I should sign it and get it to him without delay.
Well Im not sitting in front of my computer so I wait 'till I get home.  When I open this contract up and read it the service is NOTHING like was explained so Im thinking that they sent the wrong contract, oh well these things happen  Ill send him a message and deal with it tomorow.
 Then whilst Im on I go in and check my card balances to see how much we spent on our holiday...
 THEASE PRICKS HAVE MADE MULTIPLE DEBTS TO MY CARD TOTALING ALMOST $6000.00 UNTIL THE CARD WAS MAXED.......
  It's now too late to do anything about it, I have a really bad feeling and Im petrified as what my wife will do to me (or not do to me) when she finds out Ive fallen for this apparent scam.To say Im spewing would be a gross understatment......BUT   I have a big ace in the hole ...They DONT have the signed contract from me so I foward it to a lawyer friend to have a look at to see where I stand.
 The next morning theres a flurry of phone calls, first from my friend who just says straight up "DONT SIGN THE CONTRACT" as it locks you in pretty tight and theres pretty much no way of exersising your right of refund if it all goes bad.  As there is no contract between them and myself and I have not recieved any materials or products the charges are not ligit and border on fraud.
 The next call is to my card supplier that pretty much backs up what I allready know  and the next call is from my new best mate in L.A  and I let him  in now uncertian terms of what I have found out and I demand a full refund to my card . The refund still took quite a few more emails and calls but it came after a another 10 days.
 
 LESSON 1.  DO NOT!!!   EVER..NEVER GIVE YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER TO ANYBODY OVER THE PHONE....EVER.

 LESSON 2.  DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING UNLESS YOU OR YOUR LAWYER HAS READ IT THOUGHLY.  YOU WOULDNT BUY A SMALL BUISINESS FROM THE WEEKEND CLASSIFIEDS WITHOUT CHECKING IT OUT FIRST  WOULD YOU?.

 LESSON 3. WHEN CONSIDERING A NEW VENTURE DO THIS,  OPEN UP GOOGLE AND TYPE IN THE NAME OF THE PROGRAME YOUR CONSIDERING AND ADD SCAM AFTER THE NAME  LIKE THIS  'BLABLABLA SCAM ' .DOING THIS WILL AT LEAST LET YOU KNOW IF THE PROGRAME OR COURSE OR WHATEVER IT IS YOUR CONSIDERING  IS A RORT.

 Please do these 3 things and you may not get stung and with luck we can put some of these parasites out of business.

So you've been reading up on these Internet based money making plans and memberships to this and that and by now you've probably decided to maybe give it a go. Well I'm standing up to say that a large portion of these schemes are bogus. they make s..t loads of money all right ...for the owners of them and in my experience anything that relies on ppc (that's pay per click) will definitely make a ton of money.....for the search engine ,be it the g people or any other. I'm not trying to pour cold water on the fires of opportunity but many of these systems just don't work because they don't give you enough information to start with.I don't think all the owners of these systems are out to blatantly rip you off but lets face it, if it was just a matter of uploading a program and hitting the go button then having a bit of a tweak every other day don't you think everybody on the planet would be doing it?
If, like me you have half decent capability on a computer then maybe you have a half decent chance of making some money but 20, 50 or 100k a month I seriously doubt it . That aside I don't doubt for one second that some people are making some very serious money working the web. So setting that aside here are some points that aspiring web millionaires should be aware of.

1. when you finally decide to purchase the next big thing that's going to make you millions and you cough up your $77.00 or whatever for membership into this exclusive club you will find that your $77.oo only brought half a membership and to get the the exclusive upgrade that you definitely must have you have to pay more (this is called up sell).

2. Some times after a couple of days you ll get a call on the phone from somebody selling another "up sell" in the guise of one on one coaching and this usually consists of a monthly fee (more up sell).

this involves selling digital products via a number of means and if your using text ads and ppc to drive traffic to you sites you can expect to pay a premium for your key words ,the g people rate your ads from 1 to 10, if you write an ad that's somehow rated a 10 you can expect to pay say 10 cents for a given key word BUT you can bet they will rate you at say 2 or 3 and you key words are now $1.20 so if you get say 40 clicks through to your sales site it will cost you $48.00. Now if you don't make a sale or multiple sales then it doesn't take long to rack up a $500.00 bill, trust me on this Ive done it.

4. Some of the best information you will get is for free. You will find once you have paid for whatever scheme your going to participate in you will then find yourself registered with the web sites owner on their mailing list so you will be getting emails from them on the next big thing and I tell you it gets hard to resist buying more when the first plan doesn't quite live up to your expectations. Currentlly I recieve around 10 -20 emails a day so Im going to have to opt out of some as I just dont have time to pick through them. Most I quickly read and delete but others I have found to have special free offers some are junk but others have proven to have outstanding potential like this one

5. Article marketing sounds a lot more difficult than it really is, basically as the name suggests you choose a niche topic and write about it usually about 350 to 500 words attach your web link or your affiliate link and submit it to the various article directories from there people will pick up your article (hopefully) and add it to their site as content there by creating a link to your site this works really well but its slow going. This is simply the best way to get free traffic to your site ...BUT its really slow going. To write a 500 word article and post it to 10 or 20 directories takes a bit of time, until recently then along came this
